So What Makes A Line Go Bad?

The truth about bad pick up lines is that they tend to fall into a few categories. And oddly enough, the same line can be a good line in one circumstance and be a bad line in a different circumstance. It depends on the context. Here’s a list of what makes for bad pick up lines:

Let Me Give You Actual Examples

Let’s say you find a line online that goes like this “Wow, your smile blew me away, and I just had to meet you”. What would make this a bad pick up lines? Well, if you actually go out on the street, and look for women to “hand it to”. Women are the best lie detectors on the planet. They can tell when you’re not genuine and ” just saying it”.

The same line would work great if you were actually out shopping, and a girl passes by with a huge smile that blows you away. You are impressed and blown away and you truly feel it. You feel you have to go up to her and say that line. In that case, it is a good pick up line.

What About Romance And Sex?

Yes, aside from a line not being genuine in the moment, another thing that makes it “go bad” is if its too sexual or romantic too fast. If you see a woman on the street, and you walk up to her (with no prior invitation or eye flirting) and offer her sex, that will bomb! It will bomb real hard in 99.99% of situations. That isn’t to say its impossible to say such a line. If a girl is eye-fucking you from a far all night in a bar, or even passes by you a few times rubbing off your crotch… Then walking up to her with some sort of a sexually charged line is not bad. In fact, it can be seen as bold and manly.

Its kind of similar with romantic lines. If you see a woman you don’t know from Adam and go up to her and profess undying love or how she took your hear (or any of a million cheesey lines), it will bomb. Why? Well, there’s always factor one, because its not genuine. But there’s also factor 2 (its not appropriate yet) and its stalkerish. Basically, it can’t be good. If you really do mean it and are genuine about it, then you are a potential stalker. Who falls in love with a person they haven’t talked to yet!?! And if its not genuine, then you have problem number 1.

The Best Thing You Could Do Is To Make Up Your Own Pick Up Lines

They will be authentic and you won’t be in fear that you may be caught because you use some second class rehashed lines. Some lines are just too known and everybody uses them. And you don’t want to be like everybody, or do you?

But for starters some classy cliches are good. These lines will show you how the pick line should look like and it will get you thinking about making your own pick up lines. Actually thinking about new and better pick up lines is very amusing, you should try it sometimes. And trying these lines on women – that’s really something great.

This is one of the best pick up lines ever. It puts the girl and you in some kind of action right from the start. You already have something to talk about, so there is no stranger-danger tension.
