Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question. Now, its obvious he hasnt taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.
Question: I Need Some Hilarious Pick Up Lines?
Answer: I’ll give you the answer, but I have to warn you first… Funny, hilarious pick-up lines can either HURT you real bad, or be a fun little banter you have with a cute girl.
What’s the difference? She has to be attracted to you, or at least find you a cool person to chat with. If you’re intimidating, creepy, or repulsive, these lines will just make her shudder and shrug you off.
Let me give you an example “Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?” –> If you just run up to some random girl on the street, who didn’t even see you coming, this line will just annoy her or frighten her. Now, if she’s a super-social, cool girl who’s used to meeting a lot of people, she might entertain it (these girls are rare), but she’s still likely to have a bad opinion of you just running out of nowhere and delivering this line.
HOWEVER… What if instead, the following happened… You’re walking down the street, and you eye a cute girl, she notices you noticing you, and she eyes you back for a few seconds, there’s a bit of tension in the air, you know something happened here, right? So, if you now go up to her, and say “”Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?” – Its within the context of what just happened, and if you DELIVER it in a funny, insinuating, way, she’s gonna laugh…
Again, the important thing is tying to what just happened (that eye-exchange), and saying it in a way where its clear you’re cracking a joke. A subtle shift in tone and demeanor, can mean “I’m a cocky asshole, and all women should love me just coz I walked by”. This is not the impression you want to make, it has to be clear you’re joking. With that in mind, there are a bit more hilarious pick up lines here.
