What Are The Top Pick Up Lines?

Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question about what are the top pick up lines. Now, its obvious he hasn’t taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.

Question:

What Are The Top 5 Pick Up Lines? Do you have the top pick-up lines to approach women with?

Answer:

You know what’s really funny (and kinda sad)? There’s actually scientific studies and experiments done on this… Yes, scientists actually went out and paid guys to go approach girls and scientifically calculate out which lines worked best.

Guess what? Different studies came up with different lines. Completely different lines. Now, I’ve seen all these different studies, and I know why they all have different lines as the “top line”. The reason is that what these scientists don’t get (no wonder, as they’re usually geeks with no social skills)… Its not about the actual WORDS.

In fact, its about what the line SAYS, what it communicates indirectly. And what you will always find is that all these studies tend to end up finding top pick up lines that are:

• Simple
• To the point
• About her or the environment or just socializing

In other words, its usually stuff like:

• “Hi, my name is such and such, I wanted to meet you, what is your name?”
• “How do you like the band?”
• “How are you guys doing? Are you enjoying the atmosphere tonight?”
• “Hi, I’m [name]“

You get the point.

Cheesy almost never works out, unless you’re such a talented funny guy that you can pull it off as this funny thing you just said to make her laugh. But then again, if you’re that guy, you don’t need lines.

Women love it when you:

1) keep it simple

2) don’t force yourself on her (keep it respectful)

3) keep it classy and cool (too early to mention bodyparts, sex, compliments etc)
