Well, the top pick up lines are oddly enough lines that don’t sound like pick up lines. There was a study a university did a while back. They had male students approaching random girls on campus. The line that worked most for them? “Hey, I’ve seen you around campus and I find you attractive. Wanna go fetch coffee some time?”
Most of the best top-pick up lines I’ve found tend to be along those lines too. They’re either direct, soft and sincere… or they’re indirect and casual. Let me give you an example of the casual ones… You’re exiting the cinema, and so is a group of two girls. You go “Good movie huh” or get a little funny and go “I thought we were ripped off, it wasn’t as funny as the trailer said!”. Basically you’re making small talk to the people walking next to you, being in the same situation you are in.

You know I was hanging out with a friend of mine the other night and a guy came up to her and said:
“Hi. I’m a little nervous so I tried to think of an ice breaker on the way over to talk to you.” He says.
She responds. “Really?”
“Yeah, and all I could think of was a giant polar bear.” He drops that punch line and smiles.
I start laughing to myself about how ******* stupid this guy is to try to score with that, but it netted him her number and a follow up date.
Figure out you own, dummy. Oh, and by the way, that first comment is disgusting. Don’t you wish there were any decent people in the world? *sigh*
